Last Saturday, we welcome a delegation from Xuzhou led by Mr. Sun Wenhua, member of the Standing Committee of the Xuzhou Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, to visit the Legislative Council to start in-depth exchanges with Hong Kong professionals in the architectural, surveying and construction sectors and to exchange views on the co-operation opportunities between the two places. In-depth exchanges: Representatives from Xuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and XCMG Group shared the recent development of Xuzhou's industries and the utilization of construction machinery products in Hong Kong.
Interactive Discussion: Both sides had heated discussions on engineering technology, talent cultivation, green building, and the US-China tariff war.
Visit to the Legislative Council: The delegation gained an on-site understanding of the operation of the Hong Kong legislature and deepened its understanding of the spirit of the rule of law under "One Country, Two Systems".
