Visiting the first "Real Estate Technology Studio" in the Northern Metro Area
On 16 January, members of the Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Property and Facility Management Association (HKGGBAFMA) visited the first Real Estate Technology Workshop (RETW) in the northern metropolitan area, which was set up by the Housing Society in collaboration with Cyberport. Witnessing Hong Kong's housing technology moving towards a new milestone, the Studio is not only a demonstration point of innovation, but also a successful model of tripartite collaboration among the industry, innovation and policy, which truly realizes the power of "Government, Industry, Academia and Research" cooperation.
Jointly organized by the Federation and Cyberport, the event was arranged by Mr. Lee Hoi-tat, Chairman of the Professional Development Committee of the Federation, and included a visit to the ProTech Centre in Fanling, where the property management industry and more than 10 PropTech start-ups exchanged views on the industry's pain points and needs, and the start-ups also shared their R&D results and application scenarios. The exchange of ideas and creativity has provided solutions to enhance the efficiency of the industry, improve the working environment and deal with manpower shortage.
