Membership Application Summary
To my colleagues in the property and facilities management industry:
The Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Property and Facility Management Association (the Association) was established on August 23, 2024 to implement the development strategy of the Central Government's "Outline of the Plan for the Development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area", to establish a platform for exchanges and co-operation among enterprises, organizations and individuals engaged in the management of urban public services and facilities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and to promote the unification of standards, mutual recognition of qualifications and professional qualifications of the property and facility management industries of the three places, and to realize the internationalized development of the Bay Area. It will also promote the standardization of standards and mutual recognition of talents and professional qualifications in the property management industry of the three places, facilitate exchanges, innovation and in-depth integration of the property and facility management industries of the three places, and realize the international development of the Bay Area.
I. Purpose of the Federation
To serve the industry and integrate into the "Outline of the Plan for the Development of the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao", and to innovate the mode of co-operation among the industries of the three places through technological innovation, talent nurturing and green transformation, with a view to building a smart, livable and sustainable world-class Greater Bay Area.
Membership Eligibility
- Individual Membership
Hong Kong permanent residents;
Holders of post-secondary college qualifications or Property Manager License I/II issued by the Property Management Industry Authority (PMIA);
At least 5 years of experience in the property/facility management industry (including 3 years of experience in a recognized position in Hong Kong); if not licensed, at least 15 years of experience (including 7 years of experience at the regulatory level in Hong Kong) is required;
Current administrative or supervisory rank;
No criminal record.
- Company Membership
Hong Kong registered company, established for 3 years;
Holds a Property Management Company License issued by the Property Management Industry Authority;
No criminal record of the company and the appointed representative.
- Membership in Society/Association
Established 5 years ago;
To actively promote the development of property management services and organize related activities;
Membership standards are no less than those required by the Federation;
The Society/Association and assigned representatives have no criminal record.
Three,Application Process
Fill out the application form: complete the Membership Application Form (attached) as required;
Submissions:
Individuals: Proof of identity, certificates of education, work experience information;
Company/Society/Association: Certificate of Incorporation, License Document, Proof of Representation, etc;
Audit: Reviewed and recommended by the Federation's Membership Development Committee;
Notification of Results: After approval by the Federation, a membership letter will be sent to the member and he/she will become a member of the Federation by paying the annual membership fee;
Four,Membership Fee
Individual Member: HK$1,000/year;
Company/Society/Association Member: HK$3,000/year;
Application administration fee: HK$200 (non-refundable if the application is approved or rejected);
Payment method: Bank transfer/check (please specify member's name and purpose).
