Developing and promoting the application of drone technology and training of operators in the property and facility management industry
Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Property and Facility Management Association and Data Oasis Limited Signed Cooperation Agreement
In order to promote the innovative application of low altitude economy in property management and facility management in the Greater Bay Area and to create economic growth points, the Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Association of Property and Facility Management formally signed a co-operation agreement on training of manpower in drone technology and operation skills with Data Oasis Limited today (11th). The agreement aims to integrate resources, capitalize on their respective strengths, train talents and jointly explore the wider application of drone technology to serve the property management industry.
Mr. Tony Tse, Member of the Legislative Council from the Architectural, Surveying, Planning and Landscape Functional Constituency, and Founding President of the Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Property and Facility Management Association, believes that low altitude economy drones can be used in many core applications in the property management industry, including high-altitude inspections and facility maintenance, security, greening and environmental management, etc. He also expects that through manpower training, the future application of low altitude economy drone will be even more extensive. He expects that the training of talents will help to build up a larger application field of low altitude economy in the future.
Mr. Wong Yung Shing, Director of Data Oasis Limited (Civil Aviation Department's Approved Drone Flying Academy and Licensing Examination Centre), pointed out that low altitude economy is a national strategic emerging industry, and Hong Kong has been developing low altitude economy at full speed in recent years. The application of low altitude economy in the urban property sector is mainly reflected in the provision of urban development big data products, GIS maps, urban development basket maps, building cleaning/disinfecting/maintenance, external inspection of external walls, property management systems, and security patrol sea, land, and air systematic services, and so on.
The two sides expect to deepen industrial cooperation through the Cooperation Agreement, build up a network of property management talents for the low altitude economy in Hong Kong, combine Hong Kong's experience in property and facility management for the low altitude economy, and strengthen the application of innovative technologies to enhance the standard of property and facility management.
More than 20 people attended the signing ceremony, including Mr. Wong Kin Ping, Vice President and Director of the Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Association of Property and Facility Management, Mr. Lau Ka Ming, Founding Member, Mr. Yip Chun Wai, Member of the Association, and representatives of Data Oasis Limited.
