On April 27-28, the Hong Kong, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Property and Facility Management Association (HKGDPFMA) successfully completed its study tour and exchange activities in Macao. The 30-member delegation was led by Mr. Tony Tse, Founding President of the Association and Member of the Legislative Council, Mr. Fung Kwok Hung, Vice President and Chairman of the Mainland and Overseas Affairs Committee, and accompanied by Mr. Wong Kin Ping, Vice President and Chairman of the Activities Committee, Mr. Chan Yu, Vice President, Mr. Yan Wai Kiu, Founding Member of the Association, Ms. Yiu Kit Nin, Founding Member of the Association, and Ms. Kenneth Kwan Wai Lung, Founding Member of the Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day, the delegation visited the Macao Government Elderly Residences and the Pearl Metro Replacement Project, as well as the Golden Peak South Coast high-class residential area. In the evening, Mr. Paul Tse, President of the Macau Property Management Association, welcomed the delegation with a Portuguese dinner, symbolizing the deep friendship between Guangdong and Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the following day, the delegation paid a visit to the Housing Bureau of Macao SAR and was warmly received by the Housing Bureau of Macao SAR. The Director of the Housing Bureau, Mr. Yam Lei Ling, highly recognized the Code of Practice of the Hong Kong Regulatory Ordinance (Cap. 24) and reached a consensus on the co-operation in the regulation of the property management industry between the two places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At noon, the delegation was hosted by the Property Management Association of Macao, the Association of Macao Real Estate Management Professionals and Technicians and the Federation of Property and Facility Management of the Greater Bay Area of Macao, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Property Management in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, confirming that they will collaborate in the mutual recognition of human resources qualifications, formulation of standards for intelligent properties and promotion of green building technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
